Yogyakarta. Suara Cendrawasih Kolaitaga - . The students of
West Papua from Sorong - Merauke doing demo refusing Plus Autonomy under
Alliance of West Papua Students. In fact, the people of West Papua
never cry for buildings, welfare, money and economical problems. (Monday 04/11/2013).
There is Human Rights Abuses everywhere in Papua, almost every day. There is ongoing kidnapped, raped, intimidation, torture, mistreatment, arrestments, killings, assassination and Autonomy, UP4B, and now Plus Autonomy because the people of West Papua want to be an independent country from Indonesia. The core problem is only one, is the people of West Papua want FREEDOM because it is the right of the Indigenous people from the colonial people such as Indonesia.
What the Indonesia doing today to West Papuans are the same as, when your child asks you for chocolate but you give him/her a candy because it is cheaper than that of chocolate.
The government of Indonesia does all these to keep the West Papua people’s mouths shut. Again, we do not ask for money, welfare. Nothing that Indonesians offer is what we want. The only one that is FREEDOM. There is only one solution, which is SELF DETERMINATION not Plus Autonomy designed by the government of Indonesia to silent the people of West Papua.
