Jayapura ,Suara Cendrawasih Kolaitaga- Again, number of Students been arrested by Police at Auditorium Uncen today (8/11) at 2:45 P.M while protesting the bill of Special Autonomy Plus which was constructed secretly by Uncen's Academics. Some of the protester were Septi Mendodga and Alfares Kapisa who were arrested yesterday and released last night. They have been put on Jayapura Police station. The demo was also to protest police to release Yason Ngelia who have been arrested yesterday. The Rector of Uncen and his Assistants called police to arrest them.
Special Autonomy has been failed in West Papua. The rule rejected by People of West Papua and West Papuans have been fighting for the self determination. But Indonesian government secretly and illegally are continuing new bill. They used Uncen Academics, Governor of Lukas Enembe and fully backed by Indonesian military forces (Police, TNI and BIN).
However, the MRP and Governor of Papua established meeting to evaluate Special autonomy and the representative people who attended the Hearing rejected Special Autonomy and demand dialog. But again, Indonesian Government did not accept the recommendation of the meeting, and forcefully, they continue to run the failed solution.
