A number of students and West Papua Nation who joint in Papua Student
Alliance (AMP) of Committee Yogyakarta back to do the demand action (Thursday 3/03/2014). They asked to Indonesian government, USA, Netherland and The United Nation to recognize the state sovereignty of West Papua that ever independent on December 1 -1962 in Holand (now Jayapura).
The Monitoring of www.Komapo.org, the mass action gathered in Bundaran UGM at 9:30 Yogyakarta time. Then they took up to Nol Kilometer to start their demand action to ask for the authorities to clear the status of West Papua Indepndent .
A spokesman for the action, Tenius Jikwa to the media said " the West Papua Nations are annexed by the Indonesia government fraudulently,
manipulative, law disability, and inhuman or imoral. Thefore, we all
AMP students ask to the United Nation, U.S.A, and the Indonesia to give
us freedom and slef-determination soon as a democratic solution”.
Furthermore,
he said the Indonesian government immediately pull their military (Army
/ Police) organic and non- organic from West Papua. Then stop all
companies that is doing eksploration and exploitation and close all
imperialist own Companies.
Action coordinator, Paskalina Dabi said in his oration “We AMP students
back to down the street to ask the Indonesia to imediately recoqnize
the independent of West Papua Nation on December 1 1962. We continue to
deman the Indonesian clonial and others dolls like U.S.A, UN and
Netherlaand”. Said Paskalina.
They started action for their politic for Papua at Nol Kilometer of Alun-alun
selatan –Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The mass claimed that the United Nation
as the institute or organization for worldwide that must be secure,
however it involced human rights violations to West Papua Nations.
In
addition, the mass action considered that on May 1 in 1963 the
goferntment of UNTEA handovereed the administratif territory of West
Papua to Indonesian government to prepare for the implementation of
PEPERA (refrendum) in accordance with New York Agreement. In fat, Pepera
was manipulated and won by Indonesia for their interest.
And then, the attendance of Indonesian governments hasn’t necessarily accepted by West Papua pro-independence.
This fatc is responded by Indonesia with many operations of military in
West Papua areas. A hundred of thousands people of Papua die because of
the brutal of Indonesian military. It can be proof base on the “Enforcement of Military Operation Areas” (DOM) since 1977-1998 untill today. The action is ended with reading statement of AMP. (Komnews/ B.Seianus).
