Free West Papua Campaign – PNG Chapter Activity from November to December 2013, in Port Moresby

 

The Governor of National Capital District, Port Moresby Hon. Powes Parkop, LLB, LLM and MP after receiving the John Rumbiak Human Rights Defender Award on 27^th November, 2013 at the Main Lecture Theater, University of Papua New Guinea.

The Regional Meeting of International Parliamentarians for West Papua on 28^th November, 2013 at Parliament House, Waigani, Port Moresby Papua New Guinea. 

Walk for Freedom. This event took place at Unagi Oval as start point and end at city hall, even though the PNG Police stopped this but the spirit of the public was not given up to continue with the flag rising ceremony.

The official launching of Free West Papua Campaign – PNG Office by Hon. Powes Parkop, MP and co-founder of Free West Papua Campaign Mr. Benny Wenda on 1^st December, 2013 at City Hall, Port Moresby, Papua New guinea.

Flag Raising Ceremony on 1^st December, 2013 at City Hall, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in commemorating 53 years anniversary “day of hope” 1^st December, 1961.This event lead by Hon. Powes Parkop, LLB, LLM, MP.

Rize of the Morning Star Concert on 31^th November, 2013 at Lamana Hotel and 1^st December, 2013 at Jack Pidik Park Featured by Tabura band, Big Mountain, Lani Singers, Twin Tribes and Sir. George Mamua Telek and Tabamberamo Singsing Group
