YAHUKIMO - Today KNPB and PRD Yahukimo with thousands people have
done peaceful demonstration to support the opening and launch of the
Free West Papua Campaign Australia office on 27 April 2013 in the
capital Dekai, Yahukimo, West Papua.
The support action begins at 07:00 to 8:30 WPB with gathering and
political speeches in the main of capital city of Dekai, Yahukimo
district.
In support of the action of the Chairman of the KNPB Yahukimo region,
Erinus Suhuniap said, “we KNPB West Papua National Committee as the
national media of West Papua will continue to fight for the Right to
Self-determination for the people of West Papua, and We reject all
government policies in West Papua, also we are asking to International
community for organize a referendum is the best solution for us”.
Then Chairman of the regional Parliament of West Papua (PRD), Aminus
Balingga said, “ We the people of West Papua refused Indonesian
election, because Indonesia present in West Papua was illegal
occupation since 1963, therefore we will boycott the Indonesia
presidential election on July 2014 across of Yahukimo.
At 13:30 afterwards the chairman of the WPB KNPB read political
statements in support of opening offices in Australia. There are some
points of our political statement are:
1. We West Papua National Committee (KNPB) and the People's Parliament
(PRD) Yahukimo region with all the components of the people of West
Papua fully supports of opening of Free West Papua Campaign Australia
office today, on 27 April 2014 in Australia .
2. We Urged the United Nations (UN) Special force Peace Keeper
immediately send to West Papua to monitoring and have a new referendum
in West Papua.
3. We West Papua National Committee (KNPB) and West Papua Parliament
(PRD) will Boycott Indonesia Presidential Election on 9 of July 2014. We
want immediate solution of new referendum in West Papua.
4. We urge the United Nations immediately take action and give a choice
of self-determination for the people of West Papua through the
international mechanism (Referendum).
We asked the people of West Papua solidarity of the international
community to support our dignity to be free from Indonesia colonialism
and have a right life without intimidation and terror.
