Timika, 27/2 (Jubi) – About 80 percent of 1,000 students from
elementary, junior high, high schools in Asmat regency ready to take
National Examination this year, said an official said.
Paul Wurbopan, the head of the Elementary Education department in the
Education Department in Asmat said in Timika on Thursday (27/2) that
it had finished registering schools that will participate the National
Examination (UN)
“To face the UN, all levels of schooling made some preparations such
as adding more hours on subjects and exercises related to the UN. As for
elementary school (SD), it will be adjusted to school exams,” he said.
The number of schools in Asmat regency that have been registered was
141, consisting of 123 elementary schools, 13 junior high school, 4
senior high school and 1 vocational high school majoring in fisheries.
There are some schools that have not been recorded such as Yahukimo, Nduga, and Jayawijaya. (Jubi / Eveerth/ Tina)
